About Us

For a triangle to have its shape, three sides need to join together. When together, the bond is strong. Subooka is about strength and unity. While in treatment for breast cancer, my sisters were my ever-present support system. Subooka was born out of this union. Su is for my sister, Suzanne. Boo is my childhood nickname. Ka is for my sister, Karen. Together as one, Subooka honors our cumulative strength.

Throughout my 40-year career, from waitress to vice president in the fashion and beauty industry, I've always been attracted to the unique and inspiring. The lessons I've learned have led to Subooka, which is about curating thoughtful and handmade gifts for everyone.
